FIA submitted a response to the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision’s consultative document on revisions to the Basel III leverage ratio framework. FIA’s analysis shows that the current proposal’s lack of offset for initial margin would substantially increase clearing members’ total leverage exposure and, as a result, would significantly reduce clearing services to clients, increase concentration of client clearing services and negatively affect the portability of client accounts, especially in times of systemic stress.

The “BSE Bond” platform for private placement of bonds has created a new record with Rs 3700 crores of bids received in the bond issuance of Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited. SIX Swiss Exchange: Index Adjustments On The Occasion Of The Ordinary Index Review
The Management Committee of SIX Swiss Exchange has decided to make changes to SIX Swiss Exchange index baskets on the basis of a recommendation from the Index Commission and in compliance with the SMI®, SLI®, SPI® and SXI® index rules. The indices will be adjusted on 16 September 2016 after closing. The adjustment takes effect on 19 September 2016.

Just over a year ago, Commissioner Stein and I issued a joint statement in support of a proposal to shorten the trade settlement cycle from three business days after a trade is executed (T+3) to two business days (T+2).[1] Our voices added to the chorus of endorsements for such a rulemaking,[2] which have since reached a crescendo.[3] The drumbeat for Commission action on this important topic is premised on the general expectation that shortening the settlement cycle will, among other benefits, enhance the efficiency of the securities markets, decrease risks in the financial system to retail investors and other market participants, and conform trade processing in the United States to other global markets.

Deutsche Börse: Unscheduled Adjustment In MDAX - Share Class Of Kuka AG To Be Replaced - Changes Apply To MDAX and DAXplus Maximum Dividend Index - Changes To Be Effective As Of 13 July 2016
On Friday, Deutsche Börse announced an unscheduled change to MDAX. As a result of the expected acquisition of Kuka AG by the acquirer MECCA International (BVI) Limited, the Kuka AG current share class (ISIN DE0006204407) in the index will be replaced with the tendered share class of Kuka AG (ISIN DE000A2BPXK1).
